In The Beginning (1964)
His musical experience began in 1964, at the age of 12 with a band called The Tyrants. In 1966, when Rich was 14, he joined the band The Corsairs. It was with The Corsairs that Rich recorded his first single and made his first television appearance on a local, weekly television program called Twist-a-Rama.

Various Bands & Projects (1966 – 1976)

Holmes & Mancini (1976 – 1982)
In 1976 he teamed up with musician Danny Holmes to create Holmes & Mancini. This acoustic duo took part in a North-Eastern tour that spanned across 13 states and into Canada. Rich recorded two albums with Holmes & Mancini and created a Record Company & Publishing Company in 1978 called Denim Records. Denim Records featured several musical artists on its label.

Holmes & Mancini was the opening act for musical headliners like: The Charlie Daniels Band, Orleans, Rick James, Dr. Hook, Gene Cotton, McKendrie Spring, The James Montgomery Blues Band, Aztec Two Step, Guitarist Don Potter & Pianist Tim Moore. They also opened for National comedy acts: Rodney Dangerfield, Robert Klein & Edmunds & Curly. Holmes & Mancini made television appearances on The New Day Show in Boston, Massachusetts and The Arts of Syracuse in Syracuse, New York. Other performances included: Amnesty International Concerts, Save The Opera Foundation Series & Concerts for The Special Olympics.

Rich’s Solo Act &
Music Doctors DJ Entertainment (1982 - 1997)

Rich enjoyed a solo career that spanned 15 years. He played all over Central New York and was the opening act for The Scintas (a now popular Las Vegas act) and comedian Richard Belzer among others. In 1992 Rich formed Music Doctors DJ Entertainment with his sons Michael & Matthew. Music Doctors DJ Entertainment is still going strong today

Ivory Tower (1997 – 1998)
Rich joined the popular Central New York Band Ivory Tower in 1997. Rich played guitar & keyboards and shared lead vocals. Ivory Tower played venues all over Central New York and opened for pop icons Chubby Checker & Fabian.

Letizia (1998 – 1999)
Rich performed dance music with renowned performing artist Letizia. Letizia began her career in Canada as a lead vocalist in a top 40 band. She also performed as a piano/soloist in all the major venues in Toronto and has entertained the likes of Marvin Hamlisch, Lou Rawls, Boys to Men and many others. Letizia.com

Mirage (1999 – 2004)
In 1999 Rich teamed up with female performer Terri Goff to create the band Mirage. Mirage became a popular dance band throughout Central New York and performed new music and party favorites at clubs, weddings and special functions. Mirage maintained a fan base and mailing list consisting of over 250 fans and they obtained local popularity as club favorites. Mirage spent 5 years playing throughout New York State.
